I disagree on the enemies "not lasting long" as speculated at ~12:10 mark. I think the first moblin flashes because tri is out of sufficient triangles to summon another and Zelda still has "moblin" echo selected. Basically summon another and that's the moblin that disappears. If at this point in the game she summoned 4 tables and readied the "moblin" echo I would imagine that the first two tables created would begin to flash in the same manner. In fact you can see this exact behavior at 11:38 in this video when she makes a staircase out of old beds. The flashing starts the minute Tri would need to reclaim triangles.

After I saw this I decided to play the game and try it out for myself and it's real! Took me around 200 rupees or so until I finally got it but it was so worth it to me! XD Just when I gave up it suddenly came

I think it might be a redesign though I am open to it being tied into the lore mabe echos of wisdom might take place before links awakening

Basically, it's 3D Dot Game Heroes meets Solomon"s Key., turning the tile duplication Easter egg from the Sega Genesis 2D Sonic games into an actual game mechanic. This ought to make things interesting.

I wonder if Zelda will speak and use dialogue options/diplomacy. Seeing as she's wisdom and can't really be used as an avatar character considering she's already got a strong personality. Would be VERY nice to get to play as Zelda and explore her strengths which will be different from the courage strengths that Link has.

There isa couple of things I noticed, one I have heard others talk about, one I haven't. Zelda is wearing Links hood that he threw off in the beginning. It's not there when Zelda is running from the expanding void, so she must have picked it up. The second thing (that I haven't seen others talk about) is the way Link looks on the cover art. He looks evil, like he was possessed by Ganon or something. He has a purple aura around him, and the design on his shield (what you can see of it) is not the same as the Hyrule Shield. His sword is a different shape too. Is Link the boss that you have to defeat before Ganon?

To me one of the disappointing aspects of the game was the lack of new towns. Previous Zelda's often had an ice themed town with a specific species living there, much like the Zora and their domain. So I when I was exploring the Hebra regions in BOTW I felt let down that there wasn't a village hidden on the north western part of the map, basically opposite of Lurelin Village. TOTK could have fixed that, but it mostly just reuses all of the previous towns and gives them a bit of a twist. The same goes for the depths. Aside from the occasional Yiga clan location or mining facility there isn't much to see or do there. Aside from the Fire temple there are no locations that stand out in terms of design. It would have been great of they had at least included an underground village or two with a specific species. I agree with the sky islands. They could have at least included one or two islands that had a similar size as the Great Sky Island and their appearance could have resembled the locations they float above more instead of them all having exactly the same aesthetic. Add some snow to the islands above Hebra and somes sand on the islands above Gerudo. I love this game and am currently busy with my second playthrough, but I can;t help but feel there are these tiny things keeping it from pure perfection.

One of the things that I find interesting is that the caverns have the same firefly animations of the Forest Haven, and are still covered with trees and fauna that one would basically expect from a forest--leading to my crackpot theory that pawprint's cavernous system is related to the lost woods somehow.

My main issue with the open world zelda games was that the immense freedom made most puzzles trivial. I hope that isn't the case for this game, because it does sound conceptually really cool.

If I heard this unexpectedly for the first time in game I would have shat a house Srsly that’s kind of terrifying because of how damn weird it is

I think this game happens a couple years after Link’s Awakening, Link returns back to Hyrule and Zelda got kidnapped by someone, Link goes to find who it is and finds the true form of Ganon from Link’s Awakening. Ganon’s soul goes into the trident (like how Tri (like how the new fairy can go in Zelda’s TriRod) and only wants link, just had Zelda kidnapped as a distraction and plan to get link to come alone. and that’s how it fits in the timeline. A couple years after Link’s Awakening.

I think they had a fun day in the recording room and it was strangely melodic and then they knocked over a instrument or a baloon popped (intentional or not, maiby even at a birthday celebration of a crew member and they stepped on it) and they decided to just keep it in since it was such a iconic moment

You can tell the Internet is excited for Echos of Wisdom because ive been getting an influx of Zelda related content.
